An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Anaesthetic RN, EN, or Anaesthetic Technician to join a supportive perioperative team located on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This permanent part-time position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within a professional and collaborative theatre environment. Position Overview Unit: Perioperative Services Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time Hours: 64 hours per fortnight Competitive pay rates Immediate start date Key Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective anaesthetic assistance throughout the perioperative journey. Work collaboratively with anaesthetists, surgeons, and the wider theatre team. Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment and resources. Undertake duties as directed by the CNM and CEO/DON. Maintain compliance with NSQHS Standards, Infection Control, Emergency Management and OH&S requirements. Essential Selection Criteria Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, or recognised qualifications as an Anaesthetic Technician. Previous anaesthetic experience within an acute hospital setting. Demonstrated knowledge of NSQHS Standards. Evidence of required immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement. Full Australian working rights. Desirable Experience Paediatric anaesthetic experience is desirable but not essential.
